Asian Night Market Festival returns to OKC with 100 vendors

Oklahoma City's Asian Night Market Festival returns to the Asian District on Friday, Oct. 2, with more than 100 vendors and food trucks.

The eighth annual festival runs 5 to 11 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3, along Classen Boulevard from Northwest 23rd Street to Northwest 27th Street at Military Park, according to KOCO 5. The USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards named it the second-best night market in the United States for 2026.

Last year, officials estimated about 80,000 people attended. The festival started in 2018 with roughly 15,000, according to the Asian District Cultural Association's website.

The association, which organizes the festival, said on its website that the national recognition celebrates the culture and community that make the Asian District a vibrant part of Oklahoma City.

What to expect

The lineup includes a cultural fashion show, a food-eating contest, a K-Pop dance competition, lion dancing and karaoke. Free activities for all ages include face painting, a 360-degree video experience and the Mindbender ride.

After the festival closes at 11 p.m., an afterparty is planned at Yours Truly, with DJ Kim Lee, known from the Netflix series Bling Empire, performing.

Who's behind it

The Asian District Cultural Association organizes the festival. The organization's founder, Thuan Nguyen, is a Vietnamese refugee and small business owner in the Asian District.
