Paul Glorius kicked a 31-yard field goal in the final minutes Friday, Sept. 25, lifting Mount St. Mary past Marlow 35-34.

The Rockets scored 22 fourth-quarter points to complete the comeback, OKC Friday reported. Quarterback Devin Chatman, who took over at the position midway through the game, threw four touchdown passes. Zach Wylie and Zechariah Robinson each caught two.

Ja'Ron Jefferson II returned a kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown, cutting Marlow's lead to within a field goal before Glorius connected on the game-winner.

"People don't win in Marlow," coach J.D. Runnels told OKC Friday's Week 5 preview. "We had two starters out, made a quarterback change and still were able to win."

Mount St. Mary improved to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in District 3A-1. The Rockets host Plainview (3-1, 1-0 District 3A-1) on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. at Glass Family Field on the school's south Oklahoma City campus.

McGuinness blanks Collinsville

Bishop McGuinness piled up nearly 500 yards of total offense in a 28-0 shutout of Collinsville on Sept. 25.

DreAndre Bruton scored twice on runs of 18 and 1 yards. Syncere Overton opened the scoring with an 11-yard touchdown run, and quarterback Gage Chance connected with Bryson Rudd for another score. The Irish moved to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in District 5A-4.

Yukon rallies past Deer Creek

Deer Creek held a near two-touchdown lead at Tyler Tidwell Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 26, but Yukon shut the Antlers out in the second half and pulled away 37-18.

Brayden Hubbard broke a 52-yard touchdown run for Deer Creek, and Junior Harris added a 50-yard scoring run. Kicker Maddox Mehrib hit field goals of 22 and 25 yards. None of it was enough. The Antlers fell to 3-1 overall and 0-1 in District 6A-I-2.

Heritage Hall rolls Stigler

Heritage Hall routed Stigler 49-7 on Sept. 25, at Pop Murray Field, improving to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in District 3A-3.

Casady opened District 2A-I-2 play with a 21-13 win over Crossings Christian at Hoot Gibson Field. Quarterback Andrew Kos threw three touchdown passes, two to Frank Ross. Ross sealed the game with a fourth-quarter interception in the end zone. Casady improved to 1-3 overall and 1-0 in district play.

John Marshall picked up its first win of the 2026 season, beating U.S. Grant 42-16. The Bears improved to 1-3.
