A bicyclist died Sunday, Oct. 4, after colliding with a motorcycle near Lake Stanley Draper in southeast Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) officials said they received a call about the crash around noon near the intersection of East Lake Stanley Draper Drive and South Westminster Road, KOCO reported.

The bicyclist was killed at the scene, according to News9. The motorcyclist was injured but treated on site and not transported to a hospital, according to KFOR, citing police.

OKCPD has not released the names or any identifying details of either person involved.

No arrests have been made. The department said it continues to investigate the collision but has not announced a timeline for releasing additional information.

Police had not posted any public statement about the crash on the department's social media accounts as of Sunday evening. No additional details beyond the initial reports from OKCPD had been made public by Monday, Oct. 5.
