Moore High School beat Edmond Santa Fe 42-14 on the road Friday, Sept. 25, to open Class 6A-I District 2 play with a fourth straight win.

The Lions are 4-0 overall and 1-0 in district, according to MaxPreps. Head coach Cameron Bennett's squad has outscored opponents 205-35 through four games.

The numbers have been one-sided all season. Moore opened with a 65-0 shutout of Westmoore on Aug. 28 in the 39th Moore War. Moore Public Schools celebrated the win on social media, calling the Lions "39th Moore War Champions." The team then won 28-21 at Choctaw on Sept. 4 before beating Southmoore 70-0 on Sept. 11.

Moore was ranked No. 11 in Oklahoma by the Massey Ratings as of Sept. 13, according to On3.

The loss dropped Edmond Santa Fe to 0-1 in district under first-year head coach Darwin Franklin. Franklin came to the Wolves after 13 years at Millwood, where he compiled a 128-32 record and won two state championships, according to the Quick Hits preview.

Moore Monthly published a 50-photo gallery from the game, shot by photographer Barry Williams.
